Summer at the Quayside 2023, Exeter

Weird Sticks were delighted to be invited back to Exeter Quay as part of the Exeter Quay and Canal Trust’s Summer at the Quayside 2023, a fun-filled programme of free family activities over the summer holidays.

A whole shoal of our colourful and ever-popular willow and wool bouncing fish and starfish were created during the first of two free drop-in workshops.

During our second day at Exeter Quay we worked with hundreds of families to weave ‘spinning suns’ inspired by the yellow sun motif depicted in the East Window at Exeter Cathedral.
