Weird Sticks worked with National Trust volunteers and visitors over two days to create two new willow ammonite sculptures. The sculptures were inspired by the wonderful shell and fossil collections at popular National Trust site A La Ronde.
Participants first wove willow spheres in different sizes to create the main structure of the sculptures before joining the spheres in a spiral shape and adding more woven details.
The ammonite sculptures are displayed in the meadow in the grounds of A La Ronde.
